My name is Judy Kay. I am an artist and display my creative paintings and wooden dolls at the Belton Art Gallery in Belton, Mo.
I took art lessons for two months in Oceanside, CA and also for a few months in Belton, Mo. Art is a very relaxing and enjoyable hobby. My favorite medium is oil. Sometimes I use acrylics. Oils are easier to blend and all my unattended strokes end up being happy accidents.
My wooden dolls are a decorative doll to enjoy. I have one of my decorative dolls sitting in my childhood rocker in my living room.
I see everything as a potential painting. I have collected pictures of birds, sunsets, mountains, bodies of water, etc for many years. I take what I like from each picture and create a painting.
